With an appreciation for the layered application of colour, personality and clever details and that invite the eye to linger, every space I design is a true reflection of the people who reside within. While no two projects are ever the same, the common thread that weaves itself throughout is grounded in one philosophy: creating homes with identity. Grounded in lifestyle and layered with personality, every decision is guided by the belief that your home should tell your story. Offering full-service interior design and decoration, I take the time to understand how you live, what you love and what makes a space feel like home.
With over 15 years of industry experience (across Melbourne and London), I’m a Brunswick-based qualified interior designer, decorator and trained design teacher, who brings confidence, down to earth approach and a detailed eye to all my projects.
Studying straight out of high-school in 2006, design has been my one and only career love. You could call me obsessed. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of London and Melbourne's most iconic interior design brands - Designers Guild, Cole & Son, House of Hackney and Fenton & Fenton, giving me a deep appreciation for colour, individuality, bringing cultured and progressive design solutions to homes around the world.
In 2023, I launched my own design studio following a deeply personal chapter that reshaped my understanding of home. Losing my mum in 2022 to stage 4 brain cancer and supporting my dad through his late stages of Alzheimer's journey deepened my appreciation for what home truly means.
More than a place, it's where life unfolds, where memories are made and where the people we love come together. That belief is now the foundation of Nikki Weedon Interiors, creating homes with identity that celebrate individuality, reflect the people who live within them and support the life they want to live.
Founder & Creative Director
An effortlessly cool, eclectic aesthetic, influenced by my years spent immersed in the London interior design landscape, is balanced by a contemporary, functional approach to design. I'm drawn to the character and individuality of inner-city Melbourne homes and the stories they already hold. Creating interiors with identity means honouring their architecture but making it your own.
