This charming Californian Bungalow called for a bathroom and laundry update that felt fresh and functional, while staying true to its heritage soul. The brief? Practicality with personality. And that’s exactly what was delivered. Touches of forest green connect the interiors to the home’s leafy surrounds, while a walnut-toned vanity pairs effortlessly with the existing hardwood floors. A vintage-style fluted glass sconce adds ambience (and doubles as a night light). A nib wall, second toilet, walk-in shower and full-height tiling was incorporated to maximise both form and function. In addition, a transparent cavity door brings a light, modern edge without interrupting the flow. In the laundry, it’s all about function with built-in storage and an extended benchtop. To complete the look, matching green subway tiles create cohesiveness between the two spaces.
